Simple, minimal and effective. This is my mantra and method. Clean code, fuss-free interfaces and
expert execution, design as it should be.
So who am I
For the past 10 years, I've done remote work for agencies, consulted for startups,
and collaborated with talented people to create digital products for both business and consumer use.
As a designer and developer, I understand that a perfect user interface should look
good and work even better. Alongside my clients, I uncover problems and solve them. In short, I create
bolder online experiences.
My Principles
Aesthetic Usability Effect
Users often perceive aesthetically pleasing design as design that’s more usable.
Doherty threshold
Productivity soars when a computer and its users interact at a pace (<400ms) that ensures
that neither has to wait on the other.
Begin with the end in mind
Before I start designing anything, I make sure all the goals are specified.
Consistency
The single most important rule in creating UI is to be consistent.
Less is more
For UX, the underlying aim of this is simple: reducing the operational and cognitive costs of
the users. In placing value on this, the design’s usability and consistency improve.
Know your audience
When I've identified my audience, I remember to incorporate their feedback into the design.
Considering end user's actionable feedback is significantly valuable.
